Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) aimed to make a significant impact at their forthcoming HPE Discover 2024 conference. In collaboration with the creative team at Digitas, OP engaged in a comprehensive process of conceptualization and storyboarding. The focus was on illustrating how HPE unlocks ambition and leverages artificial intelligence, utilizing motion graphics and narrative storytelling on the Sphere.

BRIEF

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), the cloud computing division of HP, provides the infrastructure that powers some of the world’s largest networks, facilitating connectivity and communication for major corporations. Each year, HPE hosts a conference where clients and industry leaders gather. This year, HPE approached OP to support creative storytelling and development for the Sphere in Las Vegas, aiming to surprise and delight conference attendees while making a significant impact across media outlets.

PROCESS

To capture the essence of HPE’s mission, our OP creative teams collaborated with Digitas account leads for an intensive two-week creative sprint. We focused on developing a compelling narrative that illustrates how HPE connects the world. Initial storyboards were drafted using 2D design, which we then refined in collaboration with a motion graphics artist to bring the storyline to life within the Sphere, effectively communicating HPE's transformative capabilities.

RESULT

The final narrative showcased how HPE Unlocks Ambition, Technology, and AI through three motion graphics storyboards. Each storyboard was designed to evoke the powerful emotion of human connection, highlighting how HPE’s cloud connectivity transforms dreams and ambitions into reality. The visual storytelling not only demonstrated HPE’s innovative technology but also emphasized the personal impact it can have on individuals and organizations alike.
