Chase Sapphire aimed to craft meaningful consumer experiences by implementing trackside programming that included music, merchandise, and advanced technology integration with simulators. Concurrently, they executed in-market activations with partners such as Peloton. The Outside Perspective (OP) team was engaged to design culturally relevant programs and ensure the impactful design and seamless delivery of these activation touch points.
As an official partner of the Miami Grand Prix, JP Morgan Chase aimed to elevate fan engagement and brand visibility on and off the track. They turned to Outside Perspective to bring fresh energy to their activation touchpoints, with objectives that included creating exclusive merchandise, boosting fan engagement through interactive tech, and reimagining their Peloton partnership through a motorsport-inspired lens.
Over the course of race weekend, Outside Perspective worked closely with CAA to craft an activation strategy that would connect meaningfully with fans while showcasing the JPMC brand. Our creative team delved into the essence of the brand, designing an immersive experience that seamlessly integrated music curation, innovative merchandise, and cutting-edge racing technology. By incorporating authentic motorsport elements, we re-envisioned the Peloton partnership to reflect the high-octane energy of Formula 1.
At the JP Morgan Chase lounge, fans enjoyed live music by renowned DJ Martina McFly, capturing the pulse of Miami’s vibrant culture. Guests received premium merchandise, including a capsule collection with two exclusive shirt colorways and a custom racing-inspired scarf that combined JPMC brand cues with classic motorsport motifs. The racing simulator provided fans a thrilling taste of life as a Formula 1 driver, allowing them to virtually tackle the Miami Grand Prix track. Beyond the track, Chase cardholders participated in an exclusive Peloton Mat class held at the W Hotel, where the immersive setting infused motorsport-inspired design and culinary details to extend the adrenaline-charged spirit of race day.
